摘要
Infrared and Raman spectra of triptycene are reported for both the solid and pseudo-gaseous phases in the range 20-4000 cm-1. Spectroscopic data are interpreted on the basis of D3h global symmetry. The entropy of the vapour is calculated at 400 K and good agreement found with the thermochemical value. © 1979.
