摘要
It was found that above 300 °C at a low pressure of nitrogen the LaCo5 alloy easily absorbed a considerable amount of nitrogen to form the nitride of LaCo5 (LaCo5Nn). On the basis of the detailed results for the absorption rate as well as the X-ray photoelectron spectrum of LaCo5Nn, a plausible mechanism is proposed for nitride formation. © 1979.
