摘要
Generalizations of the ″opacity method″ of analyzing visible smoke-plume diffusion are presented. The horizontal disperson length is derived from the outline of a plume having an arbitrary vertical concentration distribution. The vertical dispersion length is derived for a plume with concentration varying as arbitrary powers in the exponential terms.
