摘要
Absorption linewidths of the Na D2 line in shock-tube-produced atmospheres are reported. Densities range from 3.6*1019 cm-3 to 1.2*1020 cm-3 with temperatures between 5000 and 10000K. Significant disagreement with previous work is found and discussed.
