摘要
To realize parallel processing computations, it is very convenient to utilize the regular structure of a band type matrix. The interconnection between processors and an algorithm to solve a set of linear equations are discussed. Using a multiple microprocessor system, the algorithm discussed was implemented and tested. To apply this method to real systems, the reduced bandwidths of the matrices of several test power systems are calculated to estimate the number of processors required. © 1990 IEEE
