摘要
We have studied the crystallographic and magnetic structures of several ternary rare earth compounds of the type R2Fe17C (R Tb, Dy, Ho, Y) by means of neutron diffraction. All these compounds have a collinear magnetic structure in which the moments are perpendicular to the c axis. From X-ray diffraction measurements it was found that the crystal structure of R2Fe17Cx changes with increasing x from hexagonal (Th2Ni17 type) to rhombohedral (Th2Zn17 type). © 1990.
