摘要
An attempt has been made to develop CBC (Chemically Bonded Ceramics) materials with high strength. CBC materials describe a family of materials in which the consolidation step of the inorganic non-metallic or 'ceramic' product or device is achieved by the formation of new bonds between the solid phases, not by thermal diffusion or melting as is normally done in all traditional ceramics but by a chemical reaction at low temperatures which may lie in the range of up to 300-400 degree C when thermal diffusion is still non-existent.
