摘要
Raman scattering and calorimetric measurements are used to study the ferro-paraelastic phase transition undergone by [N(CH3)4]2ZnBr4 at 287.19 K. The knowledge of its vibrational spectrum. together with the available elastic and thermal expansion data, allow to obtain the specific heat of the phase transition and the associated values for the thermodynamic functions. The transition entropy (DELTA-S = 1.95 R +/- 0.1) confirms the order-disorder character assigned to this phase transition. Finally. the temperature dependence of the thermodynamic functions is discussed within the frame of the Landau theory.
