摘要
Case studies of the experience of eight major corporations with venture manager compensation plans, ranging from standard corporate treatment to grants of stock in the individual ventures, are analyzed. The cases illustrate the conflict that arises between two basic compensation principles, equality and equity, when applied to corporate ventures. Short-term versus long-term and individual versus group compensation issues are also examined. From this analysis, guidelines are suggestedfor choosing an appropriate incentive plan structure for corporate venture personnel.
