PARAFOVEAL VISUAL RESPONSE OF A TRITANOPE AND AN INTERPRETATION OF VGAMMA SENSITIVITY FUNCTIONS OF MESOPIC VISION

摘要
The course of the transition from rod to cone sensitivity has been investigated for a tritanopic and a normal trichromatic observer, and the spectral sensitivity functions of the two observers were found to be significantly different. In addition, parafoveal colour vision characteristics of the tritanope were determined, and these have been interpreted using linear colorimetric techniques. Finally, a response function describing the mesopic vision of the normal trichromat is proposed, and it is shown that this function is consistent with the experimental data presented in this paper. © 1969.
