摘要：

The process of wound repair was studied histologically following surgical incisions in the foot of the freshwater mussel Anodonta oregonensis. Wound repair in A. oregonensis differed from that in vertebrates and most invertebrates by the lack of a pronounced cellular response. In other respects, however, the general process of healing was similar to that found in most vertebrate and other invertebrate species. © 1969.
