NUMERICAL STUDY OF EVOLVING VOID-SIZE DISTRIBUTION FUNCTIONS

摘要
The effect of the cavity growth mechanism on the evolution of the cavity size distribution has been investigated numerically. The size distribution has been approximated by a set of δ-functions, each of which is represented by a cavity growth rate equation. By performing calculations for 1 MeV electron irradiation conditions for both diffusion and surface rate-controlled cavity growth, we have established that the shape of the distribution function should reflect the growth mechanism and that experimental verification of this should be possible. © 1979.
