摘要
Plants were regenerated from ray florets of sixteen cultivars of Chrysanthemum morifolium and somaclonal variation evaluated in these regenerated plants. Ray florets readily produced shoots, with regenerated plants showing variation in vegetative growth and flowering. Although the floral variation induced by tissue culture was limited, a range of inflorescence morphologies were found in regenerated plants when the latter were grown and flowered under glasshouse conditions. The procedure developed for producing shoots from florets will be of use in securing natural mutations (sports) of chrysanthemum.
