摘要
The use of a piezoelectric crystal electrode as the substrate for an iron film permits real-time, in situ evaluation of both current and mass vs potential behavior. This combination of data is more informative than conventional corrosion scan results. Linear potentiodynamic scans in 1. 0 N Na//2SO//4 for iron films electrodeposited at current densities from 20 to 400 mA/cm**2 are described. The observed corrosion behavior is interpreted on the basis of hydrogen co-reduction influences.
