摘要
A method is described for eliminating antimony and selenium interference in the determination of arsenic by hydride generation atomic absorption spectrometry at As:Sb and As:Se ratios of 1:10. The method is based on the reaction of antimony and selenium with alpha-hydroxyacids in the presence of KI. The effect of the alpha-hydroxyacid and KI concentrations and of reaction time is evaluated. A comparison is made of antimony and selenium interference with and without the addition of alpha-hydroxyacids and KI at varying concentrations of HCI used to generate arsine.
