OBSERVATION OF THE ENERGY-GAP DISTRIBUTION IN AN YBA2(CU1-0.04FE0.04)3O7 FILM USING THE SI REFLECTION-FABRY-PEROT METHOD

摘要
The paper reports on far-infrared reflectance measurements of a superconducting Fe-doped YBaCuO film with the c-axis perpendicular to the surface. As a multireflectance method the Si reflection-Fabry-Perot device was used. A gap distribution was found and compared with an earlier determined gap distribution of an undoped sample. A clear rearrangement of some parts of the distribution towards lower frequencies takes place. A strong and sharp gap system is found especially around 60 cm-1, in just the same spectral range where earlier ceramic measurements showed a gap.
