摘要：

Many surgical techniques have been described for the treatment of varicocele, but no single procedure is entirely satisfactory. More recently, there has been a trend to minimally invasive surgery in adults, and this is now becoming more prevalent in paediatric surgical practice. This paper describes a simple technique for identification and preservation of the testicular artery using a Doppler flow transducer during laparoscopic varicocelectomy in a 12-year-old boy.
