ON DETERMINATION OF FINITE INTEGRAL TRANSFORMS FOR FORCED VIBRATIONS OF CIRCULAR PLATES

摘要
A method for determining a finite integral transform which will remove the presence of one of the independent variables in a fourth-order partial differential equation is applied to the equation of motion of classical plate theory for complete and annular circular plates subjected to various boundary conditions. Special cases of symmetric and non-symmetric loadings are discussed. The method is especially useful for the solution of plate vibration problems with time-dependent boundary conditions. © 1969.
