摘要
A captive bubble method has been developed for characterization of membrane surface properties. Three types of ultrafiltration membranes, DDS GR30, GR61 and 600, were examined with this technique. Results with a satisfactory reproducibility were obtained. Effects of surface dynamics of the membrane were observed during the measurements, and these need to be further investigated in relation to the fouling phenomenon in membrane processes.
