摘要
The removal of a deeply bound nucleon or cluster from a nucleus by means of a direct process such as a knock-out reaction will as a rule leave the residual nucleus in an unbound state. Because of the unbound character of this state, the lowest-order estimate of the average nucleon-core interaction increases with the distance between the nucleon and the core due to the increasing number of decay products from the earlier more abundant core. This leads to serious difficulties for the calculation of the form factor. In this paper a single-particle Schrödinger equation for the form factor is derived. The interaction term is identified with the effective form factor potential previously introduced by Ohlén and Berggren. Its asymptotic behaviour is estimated and it is found that at large distances the lowest-order term is exactly cancelled by higher-order terms. © 1979.
