A POSSIBLE ROLE FOR ADHESION MOLECULES IN ASTHMA

Recently interest has increased tremendously in the possible roles of adhesion molecules on inflammatory cells, vascular endothelium, and matrix proteins in the allergic inflammatory response. The authors have reviewed some of the recent findings and speculated about their implications, with the understanding that some of the conclusions will require confirmation by in vivo studies of allergic reactions.
