Measurement of the decay time of scintillation intensity by correlation analysis

摘要
The autocorrelation function of scintillations of an organic phosphor excited by radioactive radiation was measured, yielding a luminescence decay time of 0.4 nsec for the scintillating compound. A correlator with high time-resolution is described.
