THE ENVIRONMENTAL-CONTROL OF NUCLEASE-P1 SYNTHESIS BY PENICILLIUM-CITRINUM AS-3.2788 IN SUBMERGED FERMENTATION

摘要
The environmental control of Nuclease Pl synthesis by Penicillium citrinum AS 3.2788 was investigated in shake flasks by varying medium components. Statistic analysis was employed to avoid flask specific conclusions. The factorial experiment showed C and N sources influence the enzyme synthesis significantly, and so did their interaction. The effect of P source is significant, but its interactions with other two- and three-factor interaction are not. A modified quadratic model, in which the interaction term of C and N was represented based on the notion of the C:N ratio, was used for an improved description of the pattern of C and N. The effect of P was investigated separately. 5' uridine was shown to be the only nucleotide to have a repression effect on Nuclease P1 synthesis among 5' AMP, 5' UMP, 5' GMP, and 5' CMP.
