摘要
Reversible sodium/Na β″-alumina/molten salt/metal chloride L/S/L/S cells operating above room temperature have been described recently and appear to be interesting alternatives to the conventional sodium-sulphur cell. Materials considerations related to the design and operation of such cells are described. As part of an investigation of possible modifications and improvements of this cell configuration, the preliminary characterization of several sodium alloy negative electrode cell components is described. © 1990.
