(DT) REACTION ON 13C

Angular distributions of tritons leading to the 0+ ground state and 2+ first excited state of 13C have been measured at bombarding energies of 12.1, 13.3, and 14.0 MeV. A clear J-dependence of these angular distributions was observed, resulting from the pick-up of a p 1 2 or p 2 3 neutron, respectively. DWBA calculations have been carried out, and the extracted spectroscopic factors are compared with those from other reactions and intermediate coupling predictions. © 1968.
