摘要
Adsorption equilibrium of polar acid compounds on activated carbons were measured over a wide concentration range. The results in the low concentration range were interpreted by use of the Langumuir adsorption isotherm. However, the B.E.T. equation explained adsorption equilbria studied over the entire concentration range. Monolayer and multiple-layer adsorption constants obtained by the above models were also independent of the type of organic acids adsorbed. © 1990, The Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan.
