WORMHOLES VIOLATE QUANTUM-MECHANICS IN SQUIDS

摘要
We have previously shown that wormholes may cause an observable violation of conventional quantum mechanics and the collapse of the wave function for a macroscopic object containing Avogadro's number NA∼ mP mc of elementary particles. In this paper we apply this idea to SQUIDs, assuming a Hartle-Hawking wave function. We find a deviation of the coherent oscillations of the SQUID from conventional quantum-mechanical expectations, which can be distinguished from conventional dissipative effects. © 1990.
