摘要
The sterols produced by a number of Phycomycetes have been studied by several gas chromatographic techniques and in some cases by mass spectroscopy. Fungi of the Orders Saprolegniales and Leptomitales contain varying proportions of cholesterol, desmosterol, 24-methylenecholesterol and fucosterol. Species of the Mucorales contain varying proportions of cholesterol, ergosterol and 22-dihydroergosterol. No detectable amount of sterol was found in three species of the Peronosporales. © 1970.
