Osmotic and activity coefficients are reported for solutions of tetrasodium adenosine-5′-triphosphate and tetrapotassium adenosine-5′-triphosphate. Rather rapid hydrolysis prevents the use of the isopiestic technique for measuring colligative properties of solutions of the disodium or dipotassium salts or of the parent acid. Coefficients of the potassium salt are significantly larger than those of the sodium salt at any molality. © 1979.
