DETAILED FIELD-DEPENDENT AND TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENT AC-SUSCEPTIBILITY STUDY OF RU-DOPED CEFE2

Detailed measurements of the field and temperature-dependent ac susceptibility (H,T) of CeFe2 doped with 7 and 8 at. % Ru are presented. These data confirm the presence of a paramagnetic to ferromagnetic phase transition at 152.251.5 and 131.31.3 K, respectively. The field-dependent response also displays features at lower temperature that might be linked to the ferromagnetic-antiferromagnetic transition occurring in these doped systems, in contrast to the behavior of the parent compound. © 1995 The American Physical Society.
