THE LUMINESCENCE OF THE NBOF6(3-) AND TAOF6(3-) COMPLEXES IN THE BARIUM OXYFLUORIDES BA3NB2O2F12.2H2O AND BA3TA2O2F12

摘要
The luminescence of Ba3Nb2O2F12.2H2O and Ba3Ta2O2F12 are reported. The emission is due to the Nb-O and Ta-O group in the pentagonal bipyramid NbOF63- and the monocapped trigonal prism TaOF63- in these compounds. The greenish luminescence shows a large Stokes shift and a high efficiency. A comparison with related systems is also presented.
