摘要
Field experimentation with soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) indicated that leaf N, photosynthetic rate (PA) and yield are correlated. The degree of association is not strong and heritability for leaf N is not markedly greater than for PA or yield. Therefore, selection for leaf N to improve PA and/or yield would not be an advantageous approach.
