摘要
Surface modification by vacuum deposition of coating layers can produce new effective adsorbents catalysts for H2S removal. Metal coatings improve thermostability of sorbents and give the possibility of using them in the H2S containing gas mixtures at high temperatures. Some of them gain catalytic properties during the interaction with H2S due to sulfurization of surface W layer to WS2 which is known to catalyze H2S decomposition to H-2 and S. Most promising materials for H-2 refining from H2S are modified Al2O3-ceramics and arbon fibers. Construction material with catalytic active surface can also be obtained by surface modification of thermostable ceramics.
