摘要
Leaf pieces of sugarbeet plants were incubated on different media. The primary calluses were subcultured on different hormone combinations and subjected to cold treatment during 3-9 weeks. After being returned to normal temperature conditions, one of the calli regenerated into a normal plant. When transferred on hormoneless medium a habituated regenerating callus was formed at the base of this plant. This callus still regenerates plants after 12 subcultures on hormoneless medium. From this line, completely dedifferentiated callus and suspension cultures were also isolated. When leaf pieces of regenerated plants were used as explants for callus induction, they formed calluses on hormoneless medium, which are characterized by a high regeneration capacity. © 1979.
