摘要
Laboratory and field experiments were carried out to verify the de Vries model of heat conduction in moist soil. Under steady-state conditions the model was found to predict correctly the thermal conductance of the soil. However, for field soils, it failed as also reported by others in the literature. Possible mechanisms to explain the reasons for its failure are discussed.
