Starting from the work of Ahmadzadeh and Tjon we give a complete reduction of the Faddeev equations. We first consider spinless particles and extend the calculations to any value of the total angular momentum. It is then possible to introduce the spin of the particles and following the coupling mode chosen, to find a general expression of the kernel of the Faddeev equations with interaction depending or not on the spin. Different results mentioned previously by many authors are obtained as particular cases of our general expression. © 1969 Società Italiana di Fisica.
