摘要
A new versatile synthetic route was developed for a series of novel binuclear chromium(III) complexes bridged by ligands such as 4-X-phenoxo, alkoxo, or hydroxo with an extraordinarily wide range of pK(a) values from 7 to 16. The X-ray structural analyses of the phenoxo and 4-methylphenoxo binuclear complexes revealed the racemic forms. The antiferromagnetism exhibited by the preliminary magnetic susceptibility measurements is discussed in relation to the electronic properties of the bridging ligators.
