摘要：

Reaction of 1-nitroso-2-naphthol (HL) with ruthenium trichloride afforded the facial isomer of [Ru-II(L)(3)](-) (1), which has been isolated as the triethylammonium salt. Using [Ru-II(L)(3)](-) as a tridentate ligand, a heterometallic trinuclear complex, viz., [{Ru(L)(3)}(2)Ni] (2), has been synthesized.
