Describes the climatic conditions: temperature, precipitation, wind, global radiation and potential evapotranspiration of the Lake Myvatn area, and comparison is made with other parts of Iceland. The meteorological conditions in the period 1971-1976 for the weather station at Reykjablid at Myvatn are discussed in some detail, and figures showing monthly mean temperature, monthly precipitation and computed monthly values of global radiation for each year are presented. - Author English
