摘要
A photon counting technique is used to measure the lifetimes of recombination luminescent transitions in alkali halides. The method, which involves repeated excitation by a pulsed particle beam, is shown to be more accurate than the single pulse analogue method and has been used for lifetimes down to 10-9 sec. © 1969.
