CORE POLARIZATION CHARGE FOR E6 TRANSITION

摘要
Core polarization charge for E6 transition in the vicinity of Ca40 is calculated by the Bohr-Mottelson particle-vibration coupling model. A negative E6 proton polarization charge δepL=6=-0.06 is obtained because the isovector coupling constant is strongly repulsive and the lowest isoscalar particle-hole 6+ state is not collective. Comparison between the schematic interaction and other effective forces is discussed in calculations of core polarization charges of electric transitions.
