摘要
Experimental evidence is presented which demonstrates that a multimode optical fibre sensor can have a performance comparing favourably with that of a monomode optical fibre sensor. This is achieved by judicious choice of detection technique and by the manner in which the fibre is strained. © 1979, The Institution of Electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.
