The singularity in the Borel representation of R(alpha(s)) due to the instanton-antiinstanton pair is calculated. The effect of this singularity at the numerical values of the first perturbative coefficients is screened by renormalons so we are not able to improve the standard estimation of LAMBDA(QCD) obtained from the behaviour of R(q2) at large q2. On the contrary, at the intermediate q2 approximately 1 GeV2 the instanton role is crucial which corresponds to LAMBDA(MS)BAR congruent-to 220 MeV.
