摘要
Nanometer sized cadmium sulfide particles were prepared in N,N-dimethylformamide, using thiourea as the sulfurizing agent and thioglycerine as stabilizer. For particles with diameters of less than 40 angstrom the size dependent solubility was utilized to separate the particles according to their size. The absorption spectra of the size separated samples exhibit well pronounced excitonic absorption bands indicating a very narrow size distribution.
