摘要
The Raman scattering of non‐crystalline films of SrCl2, BaCl2, and BaFCl contains a strong “central peak” with a half‐width of about 40 cm−1 at 100 K. It can be explained as a superposition of a Lorentzian line centered at the laser frequency and a Debye‐like density of states. A structural correlation range 2σ ≈ 3 Å is deduced from the deviation of the experimental data points from this theoretical model above 36 cm−1. Copyright © 1979 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA
