摘要
Sondheimer oscillations in the Hall coefficient of cadmium single crystals have been measured in dependence on crystal orientation and sample surface quality. The results prove that the lens-shaped electron Fermi surface in the third band is responsible for these oscillations. Beside the fundamental oscillation harmonics of the Sondheimer oscillations were observed which are due to partially specular reflexion of the electrons at the sample surface. © 1969 Springer-Verlag.
