摘要
The Platinum metals are converted into chlorides by reaction with sulphuryl chloride, in some cases the chloride isolated being dependent on reaction temperature. β-PtCl2, PtCl4, β-PdCl2 IrCl3, α-RuCl3, β-RuCl3 and OsCl4 have all been prepared in virtually quantitative yields within a reasonable reaction time, but rhodium (III) chloride is only formed extremely slowly from the metal by this method. © 1969.
