BLUE UP-CONVERSION IN YB(3+)-ER(3+) CODOPED CSCDBR3 UNDER INFRARED EXCITATION

摘要
The main anti-Stokes fluorescence observed for CsCdBr3:Er3+, Yb3+ under infrared excitation arises from the Er3+ F-4(7/2) level (around 490 nm). The concentration dependence of the up-conversion efficiency exhibits a maximum for a very low concentration of Yb3+ ions. This result is discussed taking into account the dependence of F-4(7/2) transients on Yb3+ concentration and the possibility of mixed pairs formation.
