摘要
The millimeter and submillimeter wave spectrum of C2H3+ has been observed in a negative glow discharge extended by an axial magnetic field, in a mixture of C2H2, H2, and Ar cooled at liquid nitrogen temperature. Seventeen lines have been measured in the 195-470 GHz frequency range. They fit very well with the combination differences derived from the IR spectrum, using a conventional S-reduced Watson Hamiltonian. No tunneling splitting has been observed. Line frequencies of astrophysical interest have been measured or predicted with an accuracy convenient for radio-astronomical searches.
