摘要
Using laboratory data on the electrical resistivity of ocean crust basalts and gabbros at simulated in situ conditions, resistivity models of the oceanic crust have been constructed. Assuming the crust is saturated with seawater to the base of layer 3, it is shown that the mean crustal resistivity varies between approximately 400 and 600 ohm m, depending on the type of crustal structure model used.
